Well as I said, my name is Ben Richardson, I’m from Bury, Lancashire and I’m a freelance web design and developer. I’m a unique breed in that I’m a developer first and foremost and a designer second, ensuring that I can provide strong technical solutions, whilst still looking good!

I am also employed full-time as the technical manager for one of Manchester biggest and brightest web agencies, and if I believe your requirements are out of my scope (larger projects/businesses with requirements for strong marketing solutions), I’d certainly recommend them and be more than happy to make introductions.

I’ve been a freelancer for over 5 years and fully employed in the web industry for 4 of those years after graduating from the University of Leeds in 2006, walking straight into a job 3 days after graduation and never looking back.

I’m committed to each and every project that I work on and firmly believe honest is the best policy. That’s why I will be the first to say if either the project is too large or too complex, however I will always offer advice and a possible solution, even if it doesn’t involve me, so it can’t hurt to get in touch.

I’ve worked with clients locally, nationally and as far away as sunny California, however I always like to stay close to home helping local businesses achieve that all important initial web presence.
